Tehri located in Garhwal region is one of the largest district in uttarakhand state, vast spread greenery is one of the notifying feature of Tehari district. Narendra Nagar: Narendra Nagar is one best tourist spot that you should visit, if you are going to there. It is previously known as the capital of Garhwallies, also the place of importance comes mainly on the Rishikesh – Gangotri Yamuna route.

Kaudiyala: This beautiful spot is approximately 37 km far from, Rishikesh-Badrinath highway. Kaudiyala is most famous for water rafting. GMVN tourism department conducts rafting course here.

Khatling Glacier: Glacier is one of the popular trekking destinations of uttarakhand. River Bhilangna added more beauty to this place. Trekking starts from Ghuttu which is approximately 62km far from Tehri.

Tehri Dam: Tehri Dam is the tallest dam in Asia and the fourth tallest rock fill dam in the world sprawling over an area of 45 sq. kms in the Bhagirathi and Bhilangana valleys near Tehri town.

Chandrabadani Devi: This holy place is situated on Chandrabadani Mountain, which is almost 10 KM from Kandi Khal and 25 km from Devpraya. History reveals that torso of Goddess Sati, the companion of Lord Shiva fell here. So that is why this place gain a special attention in shivaratri related functions.
